The Lake of Lost Girls
Called the plot twist in the first 30 minutes.
This book is so popular. I wanted to believe!
Anyway, called the plot twist in the first 30 minutes and then spent the rest of the book wondering if there was another one I wouldn’t see coming. There was not.
I feel like the thriller genre is allowed to get away with too much shit and we THE PEOPLE should have higher standards man. 💪
The audiobook was fun. The cover is pretty! Why was there a totally unnecessary crime podcast subplot? Honestly there were many annoying attempts at misdirection that made for lots of loose ends.
Vibes
- called the plot twist
- totally unnecessary crime podcast subplot
