Earthlings

I don’t think you should read this unless you like grotesque domestic horror. I don’t but I fell into this subgenre because I liked a different Sayaka Murata book.

I loved the premise of this book: a child imagines she’s an alien to cope with trauma. But it got too dark and strange for me. Also, spoilerish, I do not enjoy surprise cannibalism. No thank you. Leave me out.
